2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of ESPAnet, the European Social Policy Analysis network, and the University of Edinburgh will welcome more than 200 scholars from around Europe and the world for the Anniversary Conference.

The conference offers a forum for the presentation and discussion of pioneering research on European social policies from a range of disciplinary perspectives, and for reflection and exchange on the prospects for Europe’s welfare states in the light of the economic, political and social pressures they currently face.

The Anniversary Conference is organised by Jochen Clasen, Daniel Clegg and Alison Koslowski of the Social Policy Group in the School of Social and Political Science.
